A guide for parents
Age of the Bible is a building and strategy game set in the Bible, for the whole family. Nobody fights other players. This page tells you what your child can see and do, and what you control.
Where things stand today
The game is for players 13 and older right now. The family account described here, with an age question at sign-up, a linked parent account and a parent panel, is being built. It opens to ages 8 to 12 only when it is ready, and we will say so here and in our Privacy Policy.
What the game is
Your child builds a village in the time of Genesis, trains mighty warriors, and sometimes defends the village against ancient peoples of the biblical text. The enemies are run by the game, so there is no player against player. There is no blood and no magic. After a battle, a Bible verse. The miracle always comes from God and is never a power you buy.
Who your child can talk to
Nobody, until you say so. Clan chat is off for players under 16. You can turn on ready-made phrases (things like “Shalom”, a short praise, “I need warriors”, a verse). Your child cannot type their own words, send direct messages, pictures, voice or links, and does not see text typed by older players. You can see the name of the clan and its chiefs in the parent panel. At 16, typed clan chat becomes available with filters, reports and blocking.
What others see
A player under 16 is not in the public ranking and not on the site. Other clan members see a chief name, a house name, a banner and a portrait chosen from the game. There are no photos, no social links and no typed text in the profile. You can choose to show your child’s house in the ranking; even then, only the house name and the portrait.
Buying
Players under 16 cannot buy anything with real money until you allow it in the parent panel. After that, the App Store or Google Play still asks for your approval (Ask to Buy, Family Link), and the game adds a monthly limit that starts at R$ 50 (you can change it). You can see every purchase. Gold and silver can also be earned by playing. There are no random paid items (“loot boxes”), no countdowns pushing a child to buy, and no ads.
What we collect
Only what the game needs: a sign-in e-mail (yours, not your child’s), the month and year of birth, the chief and village, progress, battles, the messages you allow, purchases and technical logs. No location, no contacts, no advertising identifier, no third-party trackers. Details: Privacy Policy.
How you stay in control
In the parent panel you can: see play time and purchases; turn clan phrases on or off; allow purchases and set the monthly limit; choose whether the house shows in the ranking; export your child’s data; delete the account. Push notifications are off for children, and nothing in the game pushes a child to play longer.
What we ask of you
Sign in with your own account, confirm by the code we send you, and keep the sign-in secure. For a child under 13, we ask for a second confirmation by e-mail a day later. If you do not confirm within 7 days, we delete the e-mail we received and everything else. The age you tell the game is the age we trust, so please enter your child’s real age; the game also uses the age range the App Store or Google Play shares if you allowed it there.
Talk to us
Write to contact@ageofthebible.com from the e-mail you use to sign in: questions, a report about another player, or a request to see, correct, export or delete your child’s data. We answer within 15 days. In the game, every message and house card has a Report button. The rules are on Safe and fair play, and deleting an account is explained on Delete your account.
