Speak, your servant is listening
Samuel
Coming in a later age
Samuel served the Lord from childhood in Shiloh. He was the last judge and the prophet who anointed the kings.
The story
As a boy, Samuel heard the Lord calling him at night and answered: speak, your servant is listening.
As he grew up, the Lord was with him, and everything Samuel said proved to be reliable.
“And the Lord came and called as before, “Samuel! Samuel!” And Samuel replied, “Speak, your servant is listening.””1 Samuel 3:10 NLT
“As Samuel grew up, the Lord was with him, and everything Samuel said proved to be reliable.”1 Samuel 3:19 NLT
“How much more do I need to say? It would take too long to recount the stories of the faith of Gideon, Barak, Samson, Jephthah, David, Samuel, and all the prophets.”Hebrews 11:32 NLT
In the game
Samuel is the last hero of the list, in the age of the Kings. Like the heroes who did not fight in the text, he will help the house.
