Sarah

Coming in a later age

Sarah was Abraham’s wife. She was old and had no children, and God promised her a son.

The story

The Lord asked whether anything is too hard for Him, and said Sarah would have a son. The next year she gave birth to Isaac, at the time God had said.

Hebrews says Sarah believed that God would keep His promise.

“Is anything too hard for the Lord? I will return about this time next year, and Sarah will have a son.””Genesis 18:14 NLT
“She became pregnant, and she gave birth to a son for Abraham in his old age. This happened at just the time God had said it would.”Genesis 21:2 NLT
“It was by faith that even Sarah was able to have a child, though she was barren and was too old. She believed that God would keep his promise.”Hebrews 11:11 NLT

In the game
