Joseph

Coming in a later age

Joseph was sold by his brothers and became the man who stored the grain of Egypt and saved many lives.

The story

During the seven good years Joseph gathered the crops and stored the grain in the cities.

Years later he told his brothers that what they meant for harm, God meant for good, to save the lives of many people.

“During those years, Joseph gathered all the crops grown in Egypt and stored the grain from the surrounding fields in the cities.”Genesis 41:48 NLT
“You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people.”Genesis 50:20 NLT
“It was by faith that Joseph, when he was about to die, said confidently that the people of Israel would leave Egypt. He even commanded them to take his bones with them when they left.”Hebrews 11:22 NLT
